This just goes to show that even the rich are childish and petty at times. Or maybe we should say, especially the rich are childish and petty!

There's a recent battle between two ritzy neighborhoods near Beverly Hills that's made it's way into the legal system.

The problem involves those that live in North Beverly Park, which includes people like Sylvester Stallone, Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy and Reba McEntire as residents among its 64 mansions.

The other part of the court battle deals with those living in the smaller 16-home South Beverly Park community, which includes names like Samuel L. Jackson, Magic Johnson, and movie producer Richard Zanuck.

So what's the problem between the North and the South?

It began when the NBP Homeowners association started to restrict access to a road that residents of SBP had been using freely for over 20 years.

Under the new restrictions, the SBP residents could enter through the northern gates at Mulholland Drive. However, their relatives, staff, vendors, guests, nannies, gardners, contractors, etc would need to take detours as long as seven miles on Benedict Canyon or Coldwater Canyon drives to get in.

So back in March 2006, the NBP homeowners group sent the SBP group a letter demanding they "pay their fair share of costs we [the north association] are incurring for maintenance of the roads, gates and security" in the amount of $121,000 a year.

However, the South complains that documents "made clear that all of the residents of both . . . were to have free and full access through the north gates."

Attorneys for both side, which did not comment on the case, are to make their closing arguments on Friday in Santa Monica Superior Court.

Looks like money can't buy happiness.

We heart it when actors have movies to promote!

They get sucked into doing magazine interviews as 'promotion' and us gossip fiends get yummy info!

Reese Witherspoon has a Christmas movie coming out soon, so she sat down with the people at Parade for some chit chat and to get her face on the cover of their publication.

During the interview she revealed that she's just not ready yet to get married again.

"Obviously, I'm not far enough out of being married to think about doing it again," said the Oscar winner.

And, in a new interview with Us Weekly, Reese continued to talk marriage:

"I don't know. I don't think about it much…it's important to stay open to whatever your relationship evolves into. I have a certain idea of what I thought marriage is and the whole life and [the way] things are, and sometimes it doesn't work out that way… There are things in my life that are hard to reconcile, like divorce. Sometimes it is very difficult to make sense of how it could possibly happen. Laying blame it so easy. I don't have time for hate or negativity in my life. There's no room for it. When you make wrong choices, you have to take responsibility for them: 'What part of this do I own?' I struggle to figure out what made me make those choices. All I can hope for is that I've learned something from it and won't make the same choices again."

Well, when she does it again she'll be coming from a better, stronger place.

Most people who know me know I don’t follow fashion. I mean, I just dyed the tips of my hair blue for God’s sake. One of the New York papers reports that a freaked out Rachel Zoe has fled West Hollywood and set up house in an LA highrise.

The celebrity stylist's WeHo home was recently broken into and thousands of dollars worth of dresses and baubles were stolen.

Zoe is known to have good designer vintage stuff! The thief will be making some bank!

Raisinface has moved because she's afraid of getting broken into again and reportedly feels safer in a high rise.

We're sure she'll be extra nice to the highrise's doorman and front desk staff.

Emily Blunt has found a new love, according to Star.

John Krasinski from The Office is the guy who's now making her heart go pitter patter.

A source revealed that the new lovebirds spent a romantic weekend at a Santa Barbara ranch earlier in the month (before the fires!).

"They ordered room service, took long walks and spent every second together. John really cares for Emily — he totally fawns over her. And she's loving the attention. She's a down-to-earth girl, but it's nice to be treated so well," said the snitch.

John is sooo much hotter than Michael Buble.

He really would like us to believe they're just "rumors"!

One of People's Sexiest Men Alive, Jackman says that beard wife Deborra-Lee Furness has to yell at ladies in the bathroom!

"She said the most infuriating times would be in the bathroom because all she'd hear is: 'Is he or isn't he gay?' 'I don't know, he's married'. 'Oh, who cares? I'm sure he's gay.' She used to call out from the stall: 'He's not gay. I'm telling you he's not.' And there would be silence until someone said: 'I think that's his wife.'"

For example Gossip Girl Chace Crawford chose "freshly cut grass" because he grew up playing a lot of football and golf and, as he says, "When I smell freshly cut grass I get this air of competition. It wakes me up, gets me going."

Hmmm…

Beyonce attended a star studded event in New York for Gotham Magazine the other day and she was looking….tense? uncomfortable? constipated?  I am going to go with uptight and I think it must be the dress.  Maybe it is squeezing too tightly on the wrong area or cutting off air supply to her brain.  Either way she just didn’t look like she was enjoying herself.  Aside from the scowl she did look hot.
